The Uvac River is located in southwestern Serbia, between Nova Varos and Sjenica, about 250 km away from Belgrade. The Uvac River flows between the northern slopes of the magnificently beautiful Zlatar, the southern branches of Zlatibor mountain massif and the slopes of Javor.
Uvac is a river that carries many secrets - from the source below the mysterious "Roof of Serbia" - Pester, to the mouth of the Lim. The special value of the canyon portions of the Uvac valley are the meanders whose capes have a relative height of up to 100 meters.
For a long time, the locals of this area and experts, thought that in the hamlet of Usak, the villages of Gornja Lopiza, existed only The Usak and Ice Caves. No one had any idea that nature had built one of the most interesting natural objects in Serbia and a kind of natural phenomenon - a unique cave system more than six thousand meters long.
Decorations of the Ice Cave, in the form of long drapes and salves, which sometimes reach up to ten meters, although they are cold, they will catch your breath with beauty.
